fessor Cho-Pei Jiang visited the Multi-scale Additive Manufacturing Center (MSAM) at the University of Waterloo, where he was given a detailed introduction by Professor Allan Rogalsky on the equipment and characteristics of printed metal materials.

Professor Cho-Pei Jiang visited the Additive Manufacturing Group (MMRI) at McMaster University, where he was received by the center's director, Professor Mo Elbestawi (second from right), and discussed collaborative research projects on additive manufacturing.

AM 2023, hosted by Dalhousie University, is Canada's largest and most comprehensive international conference on metal additive manufacturing.

It maintains traditional conference formats, including oral presentations and student poster presentations.

To encourage student participation, winners of the student poster competition receive substantial scholarships. Professor Cho-Pei Jiang also discussed collaboration opportunities with Professor Ehsan Toyserkani from University of Waterloo (middle) during the conference.

Professor Toyserkani visited MT3+ for a three-week research exchange in December 2023.
